Student Volunteer Program
Funds are available to provide financial support to a limited number of students who would like to attend ICML 2006. The students, in exchange, will be required to assist with the organization of the conference. Support will cover registration fees and some portion of their travel expenses, the exact amount will depend on the number of students and available funds. The volunteer commitment will be 8-12 hours and may involve assembling registration packets, checking in attendees, assisting with workshops and technical sessions, or helping prepare the proceedings for publication. Students will be informed of the extent of the support when they are notified with a decision. Supported students will also be informed of the details of their duties once the conference schedule is determined.
