United Airlines is the Official Carrier of ICML 2006.
Reservations should be made as early as possible. Restrictions may apply. Call United's toll free number (800) 521-4041 for reservations and assistance. For domestic traveler
(travel in or between the US, Canada, Carribean, San Juan, US Virgin Islands and Mexico Beaches):
Depending on your fare, you may receive a 2% to 10% discount off a published fare on a United, United Express, TED by United, or United code share flight operated by US Airways, US Airways Express, and Air Canada. An additional 5% discount is available if you purchase your tickets more than 30 days prior to travel. Area pricing option, a fixed airfare rate to the meeting based on geographical location is available. Refer here for detailed discount schedule.
For international traveler
Depending on your fare, you may receive a 10% to 15% discount off a published fare on a true United or United Express flight to and from destinations in Australia, Latin America or Asia. For travel to or from Europe, the discount is also valid on Luftansa. An additional 5% discount is available if you purchase your tickets more than 60 days prior to travel. Directions
The ICML conference will be based at the Carnegie Mellon University Center (UC). The Carnegie Mellon Campus is located at 5000 Forbes Aveue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. You may obtain directions here.
A map of the campus can be viewed here. The primary parking facility is the East Campus Garage (green dot on the map) near Gesling Stadium. The UC (cyan, magenta & red dots on the map) is a short walk from the garage.

There are a limited number of rooms at the Carnegie Mellon Campus. More information is available at http://www.housing.cmu.edu/buildings/resnik/. Wireless (802.11b) Internet access will be available in these facilities, as well as the main areas of the ICML Conference itself. Registration instructions for guests staying withing the date range of June 24-29 can be found at http://www.icml2006.org/icml2006/registration.html If you need to stay in campus housing beyond June 29th, (or before June 24th) you will need to reserve (only) those additional dates separately, at https://www2.housing.cmu.edu/conferences/registration.taf?function=load&ID=GUEST2006. At this time there are no single occupancy rooms available on campus. You may want to call the number above for availablity of any remaining double occupancy rooms.
Additionally, the following hotels are offering ICML registrants discounted rates. All rates are expressed in U.S. Dollars, and do not include tax. When placing your reservation with the hotel, state that you are with the ICML conference and you will receive the discounted rate.
All of the hotels below provide free of charge shuttle service to the Carnegie Mellon Campus. The conference organizers will arrange for an additional dedicated shuttle to serve the participants during peak hours.
